In 2025, the Chamber of Printing & Packaging Industries has continued to lead the way in developing Egypt’s printing and packaging sectors through a dynamic lineup of events and initiatives. From organizing the Ramadan Sohour gathering to strengthen industry ties, to representing Egypt on the global stage at Drupa in Germany and the World Star Awards in Thailand, the Chamber remains committed to progress and innovation. Key highlights include the Chamber’s active role in ProPak MENA, specialized WPO training programs, and strategic collaborations with major exhibitions such as Print2Pack and Pacprocess MEA. Through these efforts, the Chamber champions sustainability, supports its members’ growth, and reinforces Egypt’s position in the global marketplace.

In March 2025, the Chamber of Printing & Packaging Industries, in strategic partnership with key players in the sector, hosted a prestigious Sohour gathering that brought together the most influential figures in Egypt’s printing and packaging landscape. This exclusive event served as a platform to celebrate industry achievements, strengthen professional networks, and spotlight the innovations shaping the future of the sector.
A central highlight of the evening was a distinguished awards ceremony, where leading companies and key industry influencers were recognized for their exceptional contributions in sustainability, innovation, and export excellence. The event also featured sponsored showcases, unveiling the latest technologies and solutions driving the sector toward global competitiveness.
Euro-Asia 2025

Eng. Nadim Elias, Chairman of the Chamber of Printing & Packaging Industries, participated in the EuroAsia 2025 exhibition—one of the leading international gatherings specialized in the printing and packaging sector. His participation reaffirmed Egypt’s growing role on the global industrial stage and reflected the Chamber’s commitment to enhancing the country’s presence in international forums.
During his visit, Eng. Nadim held extensive meetings with key investors and decision-makers and delivered a keynote address during the exhibition’s panel sessions. His speech focused on the transition toward sustainability, the role of innovation in boosting the competitiveness of the Egyptian industry, and the importance of regional integration in supply chains.

ProPak MENA 2025: A Milestone in Sustainable Packaging and Industry Recognition
In June 2025, the Chamber of Printing & Packaging Industries proudly partnered with leading stakeholders in the packaging and processing sector to present one of the year’s most prestigious industry events — ProPak MENA 2025. As the premier sourcing platform for Africa’s food and beverage manufacturing supply chain, the event attracted thousands of professionals from Egypt and around the world.
This year, the Chamber centered its participation around a powerful vision: promoting green practices across the packaging sector to boost export readiness and align with global sustainability trends. The event served as a platform to engage manufacturers, suppliers, and innovators in adopting environmentally responsible solutions and meeting international market requirements.
Green Packaging, Export Compliance & Innovation Training

Empowering Sustainable Growth in Packaging
The Chamber of Printing & Packaging Industries successfully held a 3-day training workshop on Green Packaging, Export Compliance & Innovation, in parallel with Propak MENA 2025 at the Egypt International Exhibition Center.
The training featured insights from the National Food Safety Authority (NFSA) on food-contact materials and packaging safety standards. Interactive sessions with the Industrial Modernization Center (IMC) on pharmaceutical packaging and local manufacturing, followed by a regulatory deep dive from Global Arc on the European Deforestation Regulation (EUDR) and market access challenges. The last day featured highlights from the General Organization for Export & Import Control (GOEIC), focusing on international packaging standards, carbon certifications, and practical export-readiness tools.

Proudly participating in the region’s leading exhibition for printing, packaging, and graphic arts — Technoprint 2025, held at the Egypt International Exhibition Center.
As part of our mission to support and represent the printing and packaging sector, the Chamber’s presence at Technoprint reflects our ongoing efforts to Connect industry players, Promote sustainable practices and highlight the role of green packaging in export readiness, and Support local manufacturers.
One of the key highlights of our presence this year was the signing of 7 cooperation protocols with major Egyptian universities offering publishing and packaging programs. These agreements aim to:
